Marc Montserrat joined Omniome in 2019 as VP of Commercial Development. Marc brings experience in business development, fund raising, product development, new product launch and building high performing sales and marketing teams.
Before joining Omniome, Marc led business development, product strategy and program management at BioCeryx, a molecular diagnostics company. Prior to joining BioCeryx, he led sales for Ariosa in EMEA-LATAM for their cell-free DNA test, and after the acquisition by Roche, became the global business lead. Over 3 years Ariosa/Roche launched the product in over 100 countries, published clinical trials with more than 30,000 patients, transitioned from a pure CLIA lab service to an IVD product, and processed over 1M commercial samples. Before entering the diagnostics space, Marc held a number of roles in the pharmaceutical industry, including global marketing, patient marketing and launch planning, launching dozens of new products and line extensions.
Marc received his ME in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, and an MBA from the Wharton School.
